Once again I have noticed a problem with this mobo from not reading my CPU temp right After a BIOS flash and a video card change out NOW it reads the temp at 115*c restart system Bios reads CPU temp fine try to restart when BIOS "Sees" the right temp and I get a CPU over temp error ! and now I can not seem to raise the PCI-E frequency ! ?? WTF ?? Never run into this problem before ! I have always been able to take the PCI-E frequency up to 110 but this this will not even BOOT up if I set it at 105 ! GOD this just seems to be another great thing I got into . why is this stuff happening ? I can not even seem to get a good product any more !

110 PCI-E Freq on P45 ? I haven't had one board that did that mate, 103-105 is my max bootable PCI-E on P45 with the GTX 2xx series

Not all video cards can handle high PCIE freq. Also, the problems happened after a bios flash......pretty obvious where the problem is regarding your cpu temps. And you ask why this is all happening lol.

No the problem did not happen till I did 2 things ( I did a bios flash and things were fine ) changed out the video card noticed that the PCI-E frequency was too high had to go back to 100 and when I messed with my water cooler , I put a longer hose on as the one was right on the video card , I changed out the fluid and cleaned the TIM and was using Dymex every thing was great now I ran out of this stuff and went to AS5 and this is were all the CPU stuff started to happen . I am going to the store to get some more Dymex just to see if this helps .

I'm calling a bent board pin, or you got some AS5 where it shouldn't be.

This is what I thought was the problem but here is the problem with that I never took the CPU out it was in and I put a rice size amount ( Like always ) in the center of the CPU I even took the CPU of the computer cleaned it thoroughly inspected the mobo for bent pins NONE I could see using a magnifying glass as well . when I restart the computer go into the bios I can see it reading the temps as 32c let it go and I get the error then I Ignore the reading in the bios and all is fine Everest reads all the cores fine but the CPU core will show 110c till I restart again then it reads fine 22c and I just can not understand why all the sudden this is going on .

So no other input on this ?

So the only time you're seeing this high cpu temp is in Everest? Is that the latest version you're using? If it's not overheating and shutting down I would honestly not worry about it. The problem might be with the last bios that you flashed. Try flashing it back to the bios that you had no trouble with and see what happens.

No The trouble all the sudden just poped up in the BIOS . I re flashed the BIOS and nothing has changed the CPU reading in the BIOS is 115c Everest reads it at this only if I do not ignore the reading in the BIOS , I guess that the CPU's sensor just went out or some thing . strange after running this bios for a month now that this would all the sudden just happen but no big deal I guess .
