Hi ! I am going to set my first WC on my new i920 D0 . My aim is to OC cpu to ~4GHz , and get lower temperatures than on Air cooler like TRUE 120 .

I have already chosen water block : Swiftech Apogee GTZ
and pump : Laing MCP350 12V (Laing DDC 1T)

now I wonder whether 2x120 fan radiator would be enough ??

I was thinking about : Thermochill PA120.2 Double Radiator or Feser Xchanger Double Radiator 240 , I would mount it on the rear side of my Antec P182 case..

Would it be enough to cool (ONLY) my i920@4GHz ?

Thanx for your opinions

What fans do you plan on using? If you are thinking about mid speed fans or better you should be ok.

Also, you can mod the 350 to a 355 which should help temps with that block

350 to 355 only increases head pressure and flow rate, as you approach 2gpm you really hit some serious diminishing returns where you could throw all the gpm you want at it and it won't be any cooler.

With the only restriction being a radiator and a GTZ, I would think the 350 would be more than adequate to get close to 2gpm.

The GTZ is an injector block. It scales noticeably better in temps the more pressure you give it. The whole higher flow philosophy only really applies to non-injector blocks.

Well I was thinking about 2xXTHERMAL BTF 120 PRO (1200RPM and 38CFM)...

PS. Have u heard about MCB-120™ "Radbox" radiator/fan housing LINK (http://www.swiftnets.com/products/MCB-120.asp)
I just wonder if this can bear double radiator ? Anyone know ?

As for the RadBox, it'll support a double rad, even a triple.

As for your fans, that's a very low cfm output compared to the rpm's of the fan. I contrast this to the Scythe S-Flex fans, specifically the "E" fans, with the same 1200 rpm speed but almost 50 cfm output....

What kind of temps am I going to be looking at with 920 at about 3.5GHz under a GTZ, MCP350, 2x120rad and GTX280?
Hopefully not too hot... this is in my SG01 :3
