I'd like to know when it is released as well. Logitech states "April", which ends in a week.

Why pay $200 for a keyboard with a 320x240 screen when you could spend the same on a second monitor, and do more with it ?

Cause its sexy?
I want it but I doubt I ever buy it. I just need to get rid of this G25 cause the screen broke on it. So Ill probably go with a Razor or something simple but good looking

Yup, have a second LCD monitor already, the G19 aint about needs its about wants :)
It cant be far away now though, there have been You Tube reviews and site reviews for ages, one UK retailer has it for being in stock the end of this week, but I'll wait and see.
Its going to cost about £140 in the UK.

It's not so much need/want... I am just trying to figure out what this little LCD can do that a second monitor can't.

The whole computer thing is a want not a need. Who needs a 4 GHz computer NO ONE but dam does it sound nice when you say that. So to ask who "needs" this keyboard is a bad question to begin with.
No one needs anything minus food, water and boobs. So no one on here should ask why do you need this? Just doesn't make much sense.

Well in gaming, the little LCD is quite useful for supported games. Like, say, World of Warcraft(dont play, heard from a friend) you can see all your stats/achievements n stuff.
Also, if you are a ventrillo/teamspeak user, you can ditch the overlay on your screen(which is annoying) and put it on the LCD.
Also, FRAPS users get to view realtime FPS charts ;)
Dont know what else, but rivatuner has a sexy circle icon too :D
I also use the G15's LCD to show real time altitude, heading, vertical speed and lots more in FSX and at the touch of a button I can cycle between apps while still in game to check CPU/RAM usage and lots more, there are dedicated sites for the G15's LCD displays with lots of very good third party apps.
With the G19 we get a larger screen and also full colour and also like the G13 already, the G19 will also have its ability to choose any colour of backlit key you want, it will have full USB 2.0 hub support unlike the original and current G15's.
I've already read that current G15 apps will scale to the G19 screen, so yeah ... why not :)
Well, its definitely out now and is also slightly cheaper from the main online UK PC stores (that's price gouging for you) down from £143 to £132 in the space of a week, its still very expensive but most assuredly on my want list this year.
I've got the G13 already and my G15 v2 will go to my bedroom comp once I eventually buy the G19.
While I wait to see if the price comes down further ... I'd be interested to hear from anyone here who has one? I've got a few questions I'd like to ask.
Well this is out in the US now, but it seems you can only get it from Dell. They struck some deal with Logitech to have it only available from them for the first 30 days or some garbage like that. Anyway, $199 from Dell.

Well Scan UK dropped the price to £119 so I ordered it today, should be here tomorrow, will report back on findings if anyone's interested.
I'm very pleased with this keyboard, not only does it look slick, but it feels better to type on than my G15 V1 and V2, a slightly softer touch that took a little getting used to, but much better IMHO.
Love the full colour LCD and the various apps like playing a movie are probably over the top, but for in flight movies on long flights in FSX I'll give it a go. I read in one review that the guy could not get some of his his avi movies to work, but I've no problems with the ones I've tried so far, perhaps he never had the right codecs installed?
Haven't tried the You Tube Player yet, but apparently you can only choose from popular playlists, like most viewed, most popular, newest, ETC, perhaps newer versions of the G19 software will change this so you can choose any You Tube vid you want ... the picture quality of the screen really is very good, the LCD can also be used with Vista Side Show if you want.
The third party G15 apps I've tried so far do work with the G19, but you get monochrome of course and they dont fill the full LCD window on this LCD ... I've been in touch with the Guy who made a G15 FSX app that I used and he's going to try scale that one up to this screens size for me.
I'm glad I waited a week after the release, most prices in the UK were £143 inc VAT, but I got mine next day delivered for £119 from Scan.co.uk, still expensive for a keyboard, but as mentioned, this is a want not a need.

I have one of these keyboards at home. I haven't been able to use it, hopefully I can give it a shot this weekend when my build is complete.
FYI - I only paid $130. Dell coupon code, hehe.

I heard the price in the US is higher just now because of the deal Logitech have there with DELL selling them first? And Dell are slow at shipping them, pretty bad considering Logitech are an American company ... I think?
But if the case of what happened in the UK in the first week of sale is anything to go by, down from £143 on day of release, to £132 a few days later and now £119, then that could happen with you too? of course I'll be sick if the price in the UK keeps dropping like this, but I dont think so, most vendors are sticking at £132 ... Google price matching is your friend.
Incidentally, the software that shops on the CD is already out of date, Logitech have newer Software/driver for this keyboard on their site that also works with the G13. I used the latests software from the outset.
Just been messing about with the colour backlit palate, I really like the green backlit keys I use on my G13 too, the G15 V2 was a very nice design over the G15 V1 IMHO, but the orange back light was horrible, especially for the LCD IMHO.
