I'm currently having serious problems with my computer. First I thought problems were caused by broken vista x64 so I reinstalled it. But it didn't help and the problems just got worse.
Here's my current buildup:
Q9450
Asus Striker II Extreme (bios 1104)
OCZ Platinum DIMM Kit 4GB PC3-12800U CL7-7-7-24 (these: http://geizhals.eu/a324163.html)
Club3D HD4870X2 (catalyst 9.3)
Cooler Master real power M850 (850W)
Then the problem. My computer freezes and sounds go looping all the time. Sometimes my computer crashes when I surf in the internet. When I boot, bios clock sometimes resets and some times my computer gets stuck to the "ROG" logo.
When my computer crashes I sometimes get bluescreen which says irql_not_less_or_equal which has something to do with ram.
I ran memtest86 but after 4:20:47 and 7 clear (no errors) passses it crashed (screen froze).
In bios with memory clock and latencys on auto, the bios underclocks my memory and latencys are weird.
The errors described above I get with both stock clocks and OC . :shrug:
I'm wondering if something is broken or is it just a user error?
