Like the thread topic asks, does anyone know of any?

All the current ones I own will only work properly horizontally. I believe samsung does NOT have any that'll work vertically.

More optical drives can be used vertacally than you think. The samsung SH-S223Q for example can be used vertically and many more.

And that drive is the current 2x Winner of Customer Choice Award (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827151173) and my recommendation whenever I do a spec.

Thanks guys.

Newegg or Samsung don't show that you can mount it vertically, but Directron mentions it.

I looked for you on the official Samsung site in the manual pdf. There is a table in that manual that says you can mount it vertically and horizontally. Stupid that they don’t mention it in the general overview or something.
