Getting a Barton from a friend but he's done the 3rd L12 bridge mod. He has the NF7-s 1.2 and did that mod on the chip to be able to get higher FSB. My question is will I have a problem with it on my Vmodded NF7 2.0?

IIRC, the rev 2's are inverse of rev 1.2's - that is, they prefer 166fsb instead of 133fsb. So you might be connecting bridges soon :) (should be hard, just drop a thin wire in the corresponding two holes of the socket).

Or i can use the wire trick on the cpu pins themselves, Great thinking Duck! I should have it in a few days. I'll keep ya posted.

I have a XP2800+ barton an used in a NF7-S v1.2 an blowed the L12 bridge for higher fsb. Moved it to a NF7-S v2.0 an had no problems with it running at 230fsb with the blown bridge. Only the mobo would not recogonize the cpu properly or be able to set at default cpu. Put it in a 2nd v2.0 mobo an had no problems either. Reconnected the blown bridge with defogger kit an works fine in either v2.0 mobo an fsb still the same 230fsb an can be set to default cpu now. Worked fine either way in my 2 NF7-S v2.0 mobo's.
