Hey, since i have an external box ive decided im building the reservoir out of one of those chines noodle platic containters.
My only questions are:

how can i attach my tubing to the rerservoir. Do i need barbs, or can i just drill to hole into the top of the lid, and put the tubes into the water?

Also, how full should i fill the reservoir (completely?)

i would just drill holes in the top and have the tubing go into the water. it wont be air tight and some water will evap away so refill it periodicly. you could put in barbs, but then youll have to seal it so its water tight and its just that much more work.

i would fill it up almost completely , but not to the point that the water will come up from around the tubes. also, make sure that the tubes go down to the bottom of the noddle container so when the water level begins to get low, it doesnt suck up air.

when your done, post pics. i wanna see how it turns out!
