seems fine and a decent price, viewing angles might be a bit shot but if your looking at the screen straight on it will be fine, nice res on it too :) im actually going to look into buying one of these now!

it's funny how NewEgg doesn't even list actual Contrast Ratio anymore, only Dynamic which means nothing.
IMO that monitor will look mediocre, but for sub $250 you can't expect PVA/MVA quality.

Depends on what you do with it. If you're just browsing the internet, maybe some gaming, you should be fine. I have a tn panel and couldn't be happier.

im using it for mainly gaming.
movies and surfing are secondary

16x9 isnt good for gaming right now most games dont do it the 16x10 is what u want

that is ass-backwards, most games going to PC right now are all 16x9 due to the fact they were carried over from console which only support 4:3 or 16:9.
I have a 16:10 screen and I can name two huge games right now which only support 16:9: Mirrors Edge, FEAR 2. You can select wide screen and 1920x1200, but the game still displays in 16x9 with black bars on my 1920x1200 screen.
I prefer 16x10 screens, but in gaming it's starting to go the other way due to consoles.
