I tried XP Pro SP3, XP Pro X64 SP2, Vista Ultimate 64-bit SP1, and used the printer driver from Canon's web site, and also installed the network tools. I was able to get printing to work perfectly over the network (I assigned static IP address to the printer), on all three OS'es. However, I just could not get scanning to work.
Here's what the Canon "Network Scan Utility" displays:

...nothing.
Any ideas guys? I mean, I can scan with the PC I have in the same room as the printer (wired via USB), but I'd prefer scanning over the network directly to my gaming rig.
I've had this printer for a while, and been using the "workaround" of using the USB PC for scanning.
I know it's embarrassing that I'm an insane geek that overclocks and builds PCs, but this little printer stumps me :(
Any help is appreciated :)
