This thing is like the Ultimate Package, including the packaging lmao. But at 129.99 retail..a bit high me thinks for avg gamer.
Im going over to BB tomorrow(since they seem to be the only retailer that has one)to do a feel test and compare it to the new Sidewinder X8 wireless I picked up 2 weeks ago, which is a bit large and annoying me. The X8 is a pretty good mouse though, check out reviews on it..and alot cheaper it also has a break away charger so you can keep using the mouse while it recharges. The good thing about the X8 is it uses a plain old AA NIMH and it gets you about 30 hours of heavy use, and 2 weeks standby(normal use)..when the nIMH dies, just buy a couple more..cheaply. Unlike Lion which once it bites the dust, pretty much sol.

Hell yea, looks like my month old g9 will be up for sale soon. That's a good looking mouse and its probably more comfy than the g9.

I wish they would go back to the Copperhead style body and not this DeathAdder body...it's so ugly/uncomfortable for me...

I'm the opposite. The deathadder style is so darn comfy for my hands. I basically don't have to conform to the mouse at all. It's like it was made for my hand.

I own this mouse. Best damn mouse EVER. Love it. The stand is great too, illuminates blue on the bottom. Definitely worth the price.

i have a lachesis here, its been fine, nothing special, but it has a good weight to it and looks nice, but after reading a bit about this mouse i feel i might upgrade to it, the choice between wireless and wired use really appeals

I've held a G9x before, and I am just NOT happy with the feeling. I'm a Logitech guy (own G15, G13 and soon, G35) but I didnt go with Logitech this time around, the Mamba was just the absolute winner.
Here are a few pics I just took:

Head and shoulders might help with that flaking you got going on there.;)

had a chance to claw the mouse
not for claw types, but it's comfy enough, sure I could get used to it over time.
they only had 3 in stock at the BB near me.
had to take it out of the package to get a feel.
this mouse will be the TOP mouse once the price dips below 90

and what I mean by it may not be that comfy for non claw users is
this mouse is LARGE..but not as wide as say a mx1000
for the claw types you're palm will be quite a ways back, while the fore fingures strain a bit and fall short for those clicks...lol
but moving the palm forward, it's really comfy and it sorta of works in all postions, this one could work out nicely after a week or so..but won't just slip on your hand like a MX 518 or G7..like a glove.

i've got a $30 off coupon for it from razer for participating in there mamba contest. I'll probably get it but not until it goes down to around $90, then that would make it $60. My coupon has no expiration date or anything, the only requirement is, that i must buy it at the razer website.
I've got the lachaesis right now.. or i would have already ordered it. I just dont see it being much better than it. I've only had my lachasis for about 2 months now.

I currently own a G9, and I love this thing. I bought one for my desktop about a year or so back after the left-click went out on my G5 and when I got a laptop for school, I bought a G9 for that as well since I left my desktop back home.
Anyways, one thing I really like about it (didn't know the extent of it when I bought it) is the ability to change the color of the lights.
Can you change the color on the Mamba to something other than blue (like, white?) or just turn off the light?
It's more of a nit-pick issue, but I agree the mouse looks top-notch and I'll probably scour a factory refurbished one (like I did for the G9 - $50 on eBay) in a year if need be. If I can't change the light on it though, I'll most-likely stick with my good ol' G9 (I find it quite comfy using the extended grip).

129 is to much
but it will come down.
Im sending my Sidewinder x8 back after 2 weeks. I really wanted to like this mouse, but it's just not ergonomic enough for my taste, to bulky. If my hand was just a bit bigger it would be perfect.
going back to my 518 till either this mamba comes down in price or Logi comes out with a new gaming grade wireless mouse.....

FWIW, I had to return mine yesterday since it just randomly stopped working (I guess I got a lemon?) and exchanged for another one on the shelf at Best Buy; I noticed online it was $15 off, so when I exchanged it, they gave me $15 back.
So total price right now at BB is $115.

Too darn pricey for a mouse i'll wait a bit before I even contemplate buying one

Just got mine, got sick and tired of waiting for local stock so I just ordered one from the USA.
Mad props. This :banana::banana::banana: is da bomb, yo.
Compared to my old G7, responsiveness and smoothness is way up. Instantaneous movement, not even an inkling of lag - seriously the best mouse I've yet used, the shape is just perfect and it tracks really well.

Best price? Heh, brace yourself.
The only place I could order it from that would ship internationally was Razer themselves. Amazon wouldn't ship it, due to warranty localisation, and nowhere else that listed the mouse (NewEgg, etc.) offered international shipping. Ordering direct from Razer ended up costing me just under $200 Australian dollars - ~$160 for the mouse + shipping.
Well
I just received mine , the mouse is amazing , but how long the battery normally take for full charge , i placed the mouse on the charger the whole the night , until the next day and the three green indicator lights still moving , i mean how i know that the mouse is full charged ?

how large is the wireless receiver?
I'm considering one for a laptop / desktop mouse and wondering if the wireless part is too large for a laptop... i wish they made a nano receiver for it...

The wireless receiver is also the cradle dock for the mous to charge in. There's no way this is suitable for a lappy - the dock base measures 80x85mm, with a height of 50mm at the tallest point.
