View Full Version : LCD glasses
Hi'
is there any useful ldc glasses on the market yet that would actually work as well as a computer monitor for anything else than just watching movies? Or should I wait a few more years before asking this question?

Those have been an object of my lust for many years and the fact of the matter is that they still suck. The best res. I 've seen for something under $1000USD is 640x480. I think I saw something with 800x600, but i'm not sure. I know Sony has a prototype that projects the image into the edge of a special transparent waveguide but don't remember seeing any specs on it.
So yeah, it's not looking good for the near future.
A pity, would have been a nice way to shut everything out when working and to much stuff going on around you.

Still too early. For now you'll have to do with closing all doors and windows, turning off all lights and pull the screen to within 10 cm of your face.
