As I'm gaming, or just doing average desktop work, the comp will freeze and my speakers start emitting a very loud, very high pitched squeal. When I move the mouse, you can see movement on the screen, like mini-tearing in one location, and the sound emitting from my speakers changes tone. I thought it might be my OC, so I bumped up my vcore a bit and began Prime for 8 hours. Right before Prime hit the 8 hour mark, and as I was browsing the internet, it happened again. It seems to happen after the computer has been on for 24hrs+. Does this type of crash sound specific to ram, mobo, processor, etc.?

You can start by returning your MB/CPU back to the factory settings in the BIOS. Then use your PC in the way you have been doing and wait for the crash. If you dont get the crash you know the problem has been your OCing.
If you dont like going back to your factory settings, try reducing your OC by 10% and see if you get the crash again.

Yah, that's what I'm doing now. Just curious if the high pitched sound is indicative of a certain piece of hardware taking a dump. I'd be able to take shortcuts that way. :D

It could be a piece of Hardware failing with the OC. But its hard to say what is causing it.
No such thing as a SHORT CUT in life or with PCs. Just ask Little Red Riding Hod!

i had one of these symptoms before .. hope this helps
that's was using amd K6-2, it kept screaming .. especially right after windows is loaded (speakers + case beeper)
found out the problem ... the agp, pci, ram slot, and the slot A having slight oxidization (which i assumed) after constant pulling in and out ...
used an pencil eraser, lightly scrubed the copper connectors .. slot it back and no prob till today
