Hi folks,
last week I bought the G.Skill PC-9600, 5-5-5-15. Iīm running them now at 1200 MHz with 1.89v. The memtest 2.11, test5#, 1200 MHz, 5-5-5-15, 1,89v ran 33 loops for an hour without any errors. So I think the sticks should be o.k.
I intend to reduce the voltage step by step until the first errors will appear.
How long shall I run the memtest?
Does anybody know how much I could oc them for 24/7 settings? I know each chip works different but maybe somebody has a rule of the thumb for ocing.

Does anybody know what kind of chips are on the sticks (D9 GMH, D9 GMK...)?
I tried to take of the heatspreader off but I didnīt dare to go on because they are pretty good fixed on the modules.

Take a look at this thread (http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=194916). You can find all your answers to your questions in that thread.;)

Thank you Alien Grey. Your link is pretty good.
But there is one thing left to talk about in Rampage Formula thread. The lowest voltage I can set to the sticks in the bios is 1,80v. The board is overvolting this setting up to 1,89v real. So Iīm not able to find out whatīs lowest voltage limit for my sticks.
This is another issue the Asus programmers have to fix, god damned!
However, the sticks are doing a great job.

My ASUS Rampage Formula doesn't over volt that much only between 0.00V and 0.02 for DRAM.

With 1.89V you won't kill your G.Skill memory at 1200MHz.
