And came upon http://store.yahoo.com/svcompucycle/mcswra67.html
Swiftech makes excellent things, but at such a cheap price can this cool very well at all?

I recommend you go to the local autoparts store and take a look at the radiator reference book.
Look for the heatercore section and you will have your choice of all sizes and shapes.
I use four that measure 5.5 x10.5 x 2 inches, GM9078 Heater Core is around $23.00 each at Vans Auto Parts.
One of these babys would cool better than the core you referenced. And you save on shipping and can get it today at most auto parts stores.
I have been using four because I plan to cool more that 1000w of peltiers.
Also, auto heater cores usually have no aftermarket paint or coatings. The auto cores look worse (but is not that noticeable inside your case), but perform better due to slightly better thermal transfer imho.

I use a heatercore thats from -89 Toyota Corolla. It fits just perfectly in my case with a shroud and 120mmPapst fan. And the best part is that it costed me 15euros:D

Yea, it'll work, just don't put over like 300watt of heat into the water if that is your only rad.

Im using a 4 core 79 fordpickup with air, 6X6X2.5 inches. $16.99 for a rig i have with a 226 watt pelt.
The swifty you linked looks like a tranny cooler, which i've tried in the past, Kills your flow.
i've got such a radiator. it's not that bad, my water temp is about 6-7 degrees above ambient temperature with very silent fans. NB, ti4200, barton 2500+ at 2200mhz with 1.75 vcore
