hey guys,
yesterday ive inaugurated my new Tek9 5.0 pot (http://img3.imageshack.us/gal.php?g=tek91.jpg) with some dice action, and i can tell this unit is just amazing by holding temps :) sadly i had some problems with the card after one hour benching so i couldnt continue, it was not able to run any 3D on even stock clocks, dunno why coz i insulated very well... anyway now its dry and works again, waitin for the ln2 run :D

850, sounds about right.. I tested yesterday with LN2.. 890 is max.. 1.2v in voltage tuner. over that = red light.com :(

did you encounter red light?

nice score, but I think your card isn't good over all, -60 @ 1,2V and only 850 MHz ?

keep pushing it man! and try out Vantage ;)

(1,3V and card clocks up to 1000 are possible)

Vantage produces the lowest Phase output so OCP don't comes on Vantage...

i have some non-public mods so no red light problem with even more volts like 1.30v+ but it not helped for my card at all.

Very nice scores.

thanks ADAM, me too :D

same as on GTX 280 (20A Per Phase max)
but 280 has 5 Phases (100A per PCB) and 295 has 3 Phases (60A per PCB)

OCP suxxs!

could it be that the graphic driver is holding you back? .. i remember when i did my last vantage test with 2 260gtx cards the 182.xx drivers sucked balls.. only the 180.48 was descent and was able to push the cards much further.

actually ive heard about redlight with stock card only around 1.29v so it depends on, like oc potential i bet.
for me more volts than 1.20-1.25v not gain anything so i think if you have a bad card mod not helps with a good card you dont need it :) and thanks!

ive seen some other guys also stuck below 900 with ln2 so i guess not, i used 182.06 btw

Always love your work man..keep pushing. Of course the setup looks amazing but I'm biased :D. From what I heard the software voltage adjustments work good dpa, guess not.

hardmod is def the way 2 go! software volting takes a little skill out of overclocking

for THC and i , the soft works flawless ... no problems what so ever , accoured during weekend session ...

ya , its prefered to have such control on hardware level , but from personal experience , soft on it have worked very well

thanks for your words Vince, and there is nothing bad with your bias, wich is good is good :D

thanks Goddy, there is nothing bad with softmods, easy to use almost without any risks, but ofc hardmod is always a better solution for more precise voltage adjustments and so on :)
