Good morning,
I would like to get into phase change on my i7.
What are my options as far as equipment?
Does Chilly1 still make phase coolers?
Are there any prebuilt phase changers that I should consider - for example - cooler express?
Besides the obvious much lower temps what are the other advantages and disadvantages of phase over water.
With phase, is there a wait when you first start up - so that the cooler temps can drop before the CPU starts heating up?
Thanks in advance for your help!
Steve

Steve, I am not aware of any prebuilt phase units that will cool an i7 but I would google around a bit.
Chilly1 is not currently building phase units.
Have you looked in the for sale section?
Noise is the major disadvantage of phase over water because with the high powered fans and large compressors phase can be on the noisy side. That said the overclocking room it can provide is exceptional.
Yes you will need to wait for your phase unit to reach close to 85% of its max idle temp before you start depending on how high you have overclocked your cpu and how much vCore you are running.

Hopefully this helps some and by the way do read the Forum rules on phase sales....
