First off, the specs. I am using Vista ultimate x64 with SP1 installed.

Now the problem. Every time I turn on my computer, I get a bsod. It is unusable. It boots up for 2 minutes before it goes into bsod mode. The error it gives is memory error.

No idea what to try. I've never dealt with this before. What should I do?

Download and run MemTest. This is most likely not a Vista error.

I've gotta make a cd right?

CD or bootable thumb drive (http://www.hardwarecanucks.com/forum/guides-how-tos/1457-how-making-usb-thumbdrive-bootable.html).
