OGR-27 http://www.distributed.net/ was added to the vault on 2/28. This replaces OGR-26 which completed a week ago. We currently have 5000 vault points on this.
I added my PS3 on this yesterday and just added a couple of quads. I will leave the quads on here for a few days and then put them back on GIMPS to finish work I have queued up.

:welcome: skycrane. I just looked and saw we had a 475 point vault gain in OGR-27 and jumped over 10 other teams in OGR-27. Went to look to see why and saw mostly because of skycrane. Nice going!

Have put some systems on ogr and the stats should start showing up in this evening's stats run. Just been lurking for a long time, figured it was time to start crunching.

Nice start Sky_Captain! You more than doubled our daily output on your 1st day. I just have a PS3 running on this thing.

So what's your daily output from the PS3? Have you tried it on rc5? If so, what do you get out of it on that?

I average 12300 points per day running OGR-27 on the PS3. It uses around 115 watts so not bad for the wattage. Not sure if I have run rc5 on it.

Definitely a lot less juice than the latest quads use so its a very good output from the power consumption perspective. :-)

Impressive output for sure. I just have some office systems running OGR which I manually flush work days.

won't be that high today though. :-) But there will still be a respectable number. I like doing the rc5 project too, but unfortunately they haven't released a new gpu client. don't know what their problem is but they have really gotten to be erratic on their beta clients. :-( But at least the ogr effort is working good.
Edit: So I see that next on the list is the "Klingon Key Krackers" which we should overtake in 2 or 3 days possibly. Most likely 3 days. And then the next position after that the following day.

ah... took a bit of a detour and a vacation. But more ogr points will start flowing with tomorrows stats results. :)

Moved to XS's OGR/RC5 team since my old one is pretty much dead.
Edit: I run my own little proxy and stats program for my internal hosts you can see it here http://hawkeye.dyndns.org

Yep, it sure does. The original coder hasn't made any updates to it for years, but I have been able to shoehorn it into the new OGRs, and it runs pretty well. The original was very bland, I have taken it and made it pretty colorful (MASH characters)
If there is enough interest I can set up another for the team, I usually update my stats every 15 mins, but for a team stats server, every hour is doable.

I use an internal perproxxy for my rc5/ogr systems. They reload super fast that way. Plus I have more work on hand for those occasions where my isp has connection issues. I mainly use it for the rc5 stuff though so that I can regulate the size of the work units better.

Yeah, I've noticed that a lot of the DC teams are starting to "dry up" and don't know if it's because people don't have the spare bucks anymore to play, or if it's just that a lot of people that were playing around on the forums are just tired of it.
I used to crunch for another one too, but when you get down to only yourself or another person it gets rather boring.

I'll be shutting my systems down Sunday morning for a week as I'll be on the road.
