U41 appears to be the voltage regulator chip. look up the datssheet for it.

could you be more specific? I must say that im new to it :p:

that's all i can find, i don't know what specific chip it is ...

edit -

a lil more specific would be to click where it says end with u 41, should get 14 results some of wich i think would be useful.

U41 is just where the chip is, you'll need to read the chip to pull up the data sheet.

U41 is the marking on the PCB, which indicates a regulator (starting with a "U"). Now have a look at your card, find the marking and then read and post what is written on the chip itself.

will someone tell her where the chip is cuz i don't know. there's a few chips on the pcb if nobody has noticed.

ok i c it

i know my ms piant skilllz are l33t

so my question is: is that the name of the spot on pcb or is that co-rellavent to the chip itself?

o.p. could you resolve this question? look on ur vid card where i circled.

Measure resistance between pin#5(FB) and pin#7(GND). Remember, the dot on the package indicates pin#1. ;)

BTW, this is the datasheet:

http://www.intersil.com/data/fn/FN9030.pdf

I suspect it regulates VGPU.

Seems almost the same as X600XT: http://ceemic.pri.ee/hardware/x600xt/
It has ISL6522CB (http://ceemic.pri.ee/hardware/datasheets/ISL6522.pdf) and APW7062A (http://ceemic.pri.ee/hardware/datasheets/APW7062A.pdf)
But I don't remember which was for what :p:

howto? if i have multimeter, i've just to set it to measuring resistance and then when card is on power i need to directly check it? what if i touch not the pin which i want to touch?

kvadzio, NO!
You have to take the card out to measure resistance!

so i just have to connect this dots with multimeter and itll work? ok, gonna do this soon
