Hey everybody,
I'm trying to update the BIOS on the ASUS M3A78-T, but when I try to update with EZ Flash 2, i get the error "Error occurred while erasing blocks!" and I cannot continue. I'm also unable to flash when using the auflash or w/e, I get a similar error.
I didn't see any BIOS option about a lock on the bios or the mobo manual. Anyone have any ideas?

That is not a good error at all. Make sure that you set all your bios settings to defaults and do a save/exit before you try to flash. In case you have any overclocks while your trying to flash the new bios. I assume you are trying to flash to bios 0802?

Yeah, I reset settings to defaults, saved and exited. I even pulled the battery and did the clear RTC clock jumper.
Haven't OCd yet, so no issues there.
Yeah, I'm trying to flash 0802, but I also tried reflashing 0502 or 0503 or whatever version was already on there.
I'll probably end up exchanging this board at Fry's tomorrow. Thanks

Well, I went to Frys, changed it for a new board, set everything up, tried to update the bios, andddddd....... I get the same error.
How do I fix the error? I can take pics of different bios screens, but none of the options scream out 'bios write lock'
