GTX 260 black edition MIR.

I bought this card on 12/8/2008 did a MIR the same week

Just wondering how long does MIR it normally take, has anyone received theirs $30 MIR for the GTX260 Black Edition, the only thing i got so far was a black letter in the mail stating how happy they were for taking my money and to "look for more exciting black edition perks to come !" just curious.

Don't hold you breath for a check soon. Many companies have a 3rd party do their rebate stuff.

My memory rebate came 3 months after I sent it in.

But lets see if the XFX tech can clarify this matter. I think they are off on the weekends, so an answer should come next week. :(

I never count on MIR's, i have so many that i have not gotten and very few i have, so when shomeone shows a price with a MIR, I just chuckle to myself....
it's found money if you ever get it. sorry to be negative, but that is my expierience.

Yeah i don think i will ever buy a product with MIR again, I'll just wait until they go down in price, i bought this card 2 months ago at $300 with 30$ MIR free ship, and now it's $274 $30 MIR.

yeah best advice is not to believe ANY MIR offer. I think its scandalous the way companies promote thier products w/ MIR, but then when customer gets screwed they say "oh its not handled by our company its handled by so-and-so rebate company complain to them."

The rebates are from a third party company. Different retailers even have different rebate companies associated with them. If you want to put in a support ticket an PM me the ticket ID than I can see what I can find out. It appears that my PMs are working again since I just got one. Sorry for taking so long to get over here. I usually check everything when I get PMs.
