Pretty cool but shame they didnt show certain parts at normal speed. Silverstone is pretty awesome, wish they made a complete video of TJ07 assembly:p:

lol@robots :D
see it that way, would you want to spend all day inhaling liquid solder fumes dripping pcbs into it and pulling them out again?
i always thought robots only replace the jobs people shouldnt be doing to being with, monotonic, stressful tough tasks that wear you out easily. the more of those tasks are done by robots, the more people can focus on using their BRAIN and creativity and help humanity shift up a level and become something better than a bunch of hairless mutated monkeys still motly driven by basic instincts :D

I like robots doing jobs for us.
You just need to imagine world without money and bankers to start with, then it will make sense :)

Yeah, I can imagine it now... instead of using something with universal acceptability (i.e. money), they can price their PSUs in terms of various goods! So you can provide Newegg with 1.0 90 pound adult goats, 1.5 60 pound young goats, 15 pounds of premium goat cheese, or maybe 0.1 1991 Buick Skylark sedans... sounds like a plan! ;)

Nice video, but in reality, your title should reflect the fact that the assembly line shown, while building Silverstone power supplies, is not located in a Silverstone facility but is an Impervio factory. Silverstone, while building their own cases, builds none of their own power supplies. Much like a lot of other sellers of power supplies.....Corsair, PCP&C are two other well known ones that come to mind that do the same.....they contract an OEM to produce ps's to spec, typically based on an existing design, usually with design tweaks called for by the "brander".

Yep, it's good for us.
Why?
God did not make us as robots! God made us so we would eventually become smart enough to make robots for ourselves! Soon, we'll have sex robots too!
And robots that clean our house, fetch the news paper, and cook dinner. Oh wait we already got that...

Slightly offtopic (sorry mods!) but if you liked that....... if you are ever traveling through Germany and go through (or nearby) Wolfsburg then stop by the VW factory there and take the factory floor tour. Its awesome. Fairly long too (well over an hour) but (unless you know German) get there early in the day because I think there is only 1 English tour and its usually just before lunch.

Interesting video. I wonder if that rather repetitive tune was made by robots, as well (to achieve highest quality and precision) :D

Hey, I'll give you 6 chickens and 2 bags of white rice for the goats. Maybe I'll throw in some high quality beads to sweeten the deal?
