I know this isn't in the right area of the forum, for that I apologize. Seems like this is where all the activity is and I need the quickest response possible. I need to know how to lower the resistence in a 47k or 50k VR. I'm in the process of doing the P4C800 vdimm mod, I have the 47k VR hooked up to the LM385 but I don't know how to lower the resistence to increase the vdimm. Please help! :)

If you don't know how to adjust the vr, then you probably should not be doing the mod. Besides you need to measure the resistance beforehand just to be sure it's set up correctly.

Turn the pot all the way anticlockwise.

Get your multimeter out and work out which pin's give you 47K,
Remember you want the center pin and one of the side ones, not both end ones.

Then you turn the pot clockwise to drop the resistance, once its turned all the way clockwise the resistance will be zero.
