Interesting comparision on p145 5000000 step work units:
Windows 2000 SP2 on XP1800 running FAH3Console.exe on p145 = 10m50s per frame.

LINUX kernel 2.4.9 on XP1800 running WINE/FAH3Console.exe on p145 = 9m28s per frame

LINUX kernel 2.4.9 on Duron 1ghz ECS K7S5A running WINE/FAH3Console.exe on p145 = 13m32s per frame

All Boards are ECS K7S5A sis735 with identical bios flash
XP1800 are at 138 FSB (276 DDR)
Duron 1ghz are at 112FSB (224DDR)

For comparison:
P4-1700 on a asus board on a p145 = 18m36s per frame
PII Xeon 450/1meg cache on a p145 = 44m44s per frame

Hmmm AMD rocks!
Linux and Wine rocks

CREDIT goes to team phoenix rising for this info which they got from the folding forum here (http://forum.folding-community.org/viewtopic.php?p=7624#7624)

Oh well, at least the latest version of F@H3 is a little more Intel friendly. Once I upgraded from version 2.??? my stats jumped in production a little. AMD does seem to outdo Intel in this area though.
