I'm interested in getting some water cooling. I'll probably go with some sort of kit. I would like it to be able to cool a TEC when the time comes. Any reccomendations?? I've been looking at some of those swiftech kits.

If I may add my 2 cents here, you will be much better off DIY in my opinion. You'll learn a lot more, and enjoy it a lot more if you do it yourself compared to a kit. I'd go off on a slight tangent about how much I disliked the cpu water block they give you in that kit, but I'll refrain...

Yea, swiffy is great but that one sandman posted, there's aother one with double rads in parallel (Oppainter reviewed it, or is still reviewing it ;) ) which so much better.

Cooling TEC(s) in a future with WC kt s a challange I must say.
Defenetely rads would need to be upgraded or much stronger fans in push-pull config added or both of them :).

i'm gonna have to agree with TheWeaseL, you will learn more, get better performance (cooler tempatures), and you will like your own work. dtek has some nice rads and i'd suggest the white water block also. just my 2 cents also

I agree with the pleaseure and performance derrived from the DIY method, but for a first time watercooler, the swiftech kit is a strong performer, and he doesn't have to worry about forgetting to order something, having mis-matched components, etc. The only worry he will have is where to mount that big radiator.

you should save yourself money in the LONG run and just buy a Mach 1 for $550.

I've spend almost that much in watercooling over the last 3 or 4 years. if i would have just bought a mach 1 then, i would have been much happy.
