Shuttle Inc., the leading designer and manufacturer of small form factor (SFF) computers and accessories, today announced the availability of the new custom liquid-cooled SDXi Carbon extreme gaming solution showcased earlier this month at the 2009 Consumer Electronics Show.

As an extreme performance system for gamers, enthusiasts, and even professionals working with graphic design, animation, or CAD, the Shuttle SDXi Carbon features a powerful quad-core Intel Core 2 Extreme QX9770 processor, dual-slot NVIDIA GeForce GTX 280 graphics card, and high-speed DDR2 memory (up to 16GB) to deliver the best possible experience for today’s most demanding applications. Then to ensure maximum performance and stability at all times, SDXi Carbon features the world’s first Liquid I.C.E. technology that is designed to deliver the most efficient cooling solution in an extreme small form factor system. As a finishing touch, the SDXi Carbon is custom wrapped and painted in a premium automotive level finish, making the exterior of the system as unique as the interior.

The Shuttle SDXi Carbon is available now as a pre-configured complete solution starting at $2,599 MSRP (U.S.). Shuttle Liquid I.C.E. will be available soon as an accessory for select models of the Shuttle H7 series (price to be determined at release)...............

does it actually come with the 2 x gtx 280 and if so how in the hell can they fit all that inside that small box plus a good PSU ????

Shuttle's power supplies are actually pretty underrated considering their size. I ran an overclocked E6600 and 8800GTX on a Shuttle 400w unit for a while with no power issues.

I'm running a 9600GT, FX-62, 2x2gb, Hard Drive, DVD Drive, and the onboard video (total of 3 screens) in my shuttle - its 300W
they're great machines, even if a little pricy

that looks awesome! i'd rather try to build one myself, than pay that much for one, but i've never had a problem with any of my shuttle units (as opposed my "custom" rigs).

They charge $120 service fee if you want your drives configured in raid. That alone tells a lot about the company. PASSSSSSS!

i like the case design, but seeing someone else with the same case at a lanparty would suck. :(

such is economics, if people don't know better they'll do it. you or i would never buy this, but dofus who wants his uber 1337 gaming machine in a small form factor with uber 1337 watercooling will buy it. . .

im interested in what pump that is, it looks quite intriguing for cooling my NB on my X48, and perhaps my mosfets too maybe...

Or maybe an Apogee Drive?

definitely not, Apogee Drive is a MCP350(identical to MCP355) integrated onto a Apogee GT waterblock.

Hate the painting & windows. I prefer the old SDXI with flames.

 I'm aware of what the Drive is, which is why I suggested it. It's compact, and eliminates the need to mount the pump elsewhere, which would make it a pretty decent match for this application. Are there pictures of the internals floating around? Couldn't find any myself.

Not to shabby at all. Definitely some D-tek sourcing involved, methinks.

wow impressed with that WC. But does such a small rad have the capacity of a normal air cooler?
