I am looking at the Biostar Tpower X58 Motherboard & 6GB RAM or the evga x58/6 gig kits...

is there any real difference? I just want a good overclock and stability

thx

** if any one could recommend a cooler for it also! thx

looking at this

http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=36364&promoid=1001

or this

http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=36218&vpn=eVGA-X58-6GB-GAMES&manufacture=Bundle%20Deals&promoid=1001

Or would it just be best to get a motherboard and a better ram kit? thx

The best X58 board for OCing is probably the Bloodrage, everyone who has one seems to absolutely love it. Apart from that, the Gigabyte boards are also very popular, or this may be of some help (http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?p=3654104).

As for a CPU cooler, are we talking air or water here?

Technical specifications mostly. As Anand said, the Bloodrage seems to be near-perfect hardware-wise, but with BIOS issues that prevent some from getting better results. I've never used the board myself so I can't comment further, this is merely based on what others are reporting.
