Looks Great !

I would take the eraser around the CPU and smooth it out a bit more level to the top of the CPU.

When ever I left to much at the top like that and mounted the Evap some of the art araser would get squashed over the top of the CPU and mix with the TIM.

No big deal tho, good job !

This is my way of doing it (for CPU@-100°C & RAM@-40°C cooling):

Thanks

Do I have to put any art rubber on the evap on my unit?

No earaser under the Evap.

I usually put a layer of blue shop towel, then layer of foam and mount evap on top of that. Of course a hole through the shop towel and foam for the evap to go through.

Nice setupo Tiborr

I have some foam that was pre cut to fit the evap, but do I put the smooth side to the evap or the art rubber?

Also there is a 5mm gap between the evap and the foam around it, is that a problem?

Could someone please tell me if this is all good now?

http://i292.photobucket.com/albums/mm27/fatguy1992/BILD0474.jpg

The unit fits on it fine, just want to do a final check that its all good before I start it up.

Now lay a paper towel on top of that with a round hole in the towel just like the foam. You did a good job.

It absorbs any moisture into its mesh, much like bandage crepe, preventing it to spill on the motherboard.

That looks great !!

I put my shop towel under the foam, between the eraser and the foam. Not sure if that matters much.

Great Job ! Now lets see what it can do

I got it going finally:D

With my E8500 @ 4.0GHz the temp is -47C idle, and i'll test load soon.

Time for some 5.2GHz benching :p:
