I fondly remember using my Mach II 24/7 with my old P4 setup :) I've got water cooling at the moment but it just seems dull compared to phase. I'll most likely be upgrading to I7 soon and I was wondering if anyone here runs one 24/7 with phase ?

People do but the performance increase with the cheap Core i7 on air versus single-stage isn't that much. With a Core i7 920, you will typically hit a bclk wall before you max out the chip. However, if you spring for the Core i7 940 or 965, you'll be able to scale much higher and get into the realm of overclocks(4700MHz+) where sub-ambient cooling is useful.

Ya, 24/7 on i7 here as well..
You'll want a strong unit, at least 1/3hp if you can live with higher load temps (around -30C) or a 1/2hp and up if you want better temps. However considering elec costs which are pretty important if you run 24/7, I'd say a 1/3hp tuned for high loads will be your best bet if you aren't too crazy about temps.
