Wondering how i would override the Mach II's Controller Board.

Can i simply wire a switch into the "switch" cable that's currently hooked to my case switch?

If i do this, what consequences will i have? Will i lose the heaters, or the power to the front LCD?

If there is more complicated work to be done, then this may have to be postponed.

TLD its fairly straight forward but you will need the power schematics of your starting electrical for the compressor so you know where the external power connects.

1) Unplug your electrical that runs from your controller to the compressor.
2) install an on/off switch in the back of the gt case and wire your compressor and power source to the on/off switch.
3) your heating elements are simply 12 volt so you could wire those to your pc power or add a converter and wire inside your case.
4) leave everything else alone and your good to go.

Perfect, Thanks SDumper,
I've grabbed a switch (although it's rated at 6A, 125V or 3A, 250V which i fear may be too low)

I will try and track down an electrical schematic this weekend.
and get going on this.
