I am starting to build a little cascade system to run my Phenom II around -50 -60C under full load (will run 5-6hrs loaded, so hose temps are easy to insulate) and I have picked up a Danfoss TUA expansion valve. I will be running a 700BTU @ -40C compressor on HC502a for the first stage and have picked up a #2 orifice set. If any one has used one of the these expansion valves and possibly has a recommendation if this is the wrong choice, it would ba appreciated.

i agree with reed most people use the ts2/tes2 for r404/r507 txv with ether a 0X-00 orifice on the 1st stage.

tua N range valve w/0 orifce @-40c is rated @ 0.34kw from the documetation
page 7 http://rc.danfoss.com/TechnicalInfo/literature/manuals/01/DKRCCPDAG0A202.pdf

but depends on what valve type you have and gas type in bulb
on another note the tua rage dont do a r502 txv
have a look around the pdf above it should shed a bit more light for you
