Iwaki MD-15 Vs. Eheim 1250 for noise

Greets all,
has anyone used both of these pumps that can answer a noise question?
I'm currently running an Eheim 1250 that's damn near silent sitting on a piece of foam. I just got an Iwaki MD15 off of ebay for a steal, but some of the bushings are shot and it's noisy as hell. I really like the pressure/flow of the Iwaki and am just considering getting a new one, but if it's going to be louder than the Eheim, I'll just continue with what I have.

Thoughts???

The iwaki pump will perform way better than the eheim, even if it's more noisy than the eheim it won't be much more louder
Go with the iwaki you won't regret it

If you mounted the Iwaki on foam and it's that loud then indeed it needs some work.

Most need to get right next to it to hear it over other system noises.
