Guys have any Ideas how 2 mach 1's would perform mounted to a cold plate, cold plate mounted to a phenom 2?

Do not waste your time. Between evap and CPU core we already have on average a 15C to 25C delta under heavy load. Now imagine making two of these jumps.. maybe 25C to 35C delta between your evap temps and your CPU core temps. With a Mach I you are talking maybe 0 Celsius? Phenom II scales with cold but 0 Celsius might get you 4200MHz stable versus 3800MHz stable on air. I don't know how desperate you are for sub-zero temps but I'd make a dry ice chiller before I'd fabricate a cold plate system and mount for this idea.

Yah already have a DI pot (5040mhz on that so far ), was just curious without sending my units out for mods what I might manage to do.
Really sux, guess I have no choice but to mod my units.
Anyone interested in modding a mach 1 in the local 48, I can't afford to pay but I can offer 2 units in trade for work. A second mach 1 and chilly1's liquid frostbyte....I know this isn't a place of busines so please PM me.

So, If somebody will come up with a good idea how to use two Prommies, I am also interested (have 2 Mach2 units).

mach 2 should be fine for Phenom 2, I played with one at 4.8 gig in person at the boston event amd held.
Mach 1 just can't handle the load for sub zero temps.

Mach 2 is not good enough for E8600 1,72v@5,6 Ghz. Temps are 50+c under load (2xOrthos)

Ouch, you sure you had a good mount/your unit doesn't need a recharge? That amd quad I played with with .20 over stock was seeing -55 temps. For reference thats enough to push me well over 55c on air.

Mount is good but shure it needs some inprovement. The temp sensor shows -45c but it is located in a wrong place. Without load around zero but after some load....
Mach 2 GT held my E8500 to 5.2Ghz benching @ 1.75 vcore.

GT is slightly better :) But 5,2 versus 5,6.....

Erm, what's that?
Why yes, I have tried chilling down chunks of copper. They get really cold and let you form fantastic smile faces in the frost
Taking an educated guess, maybe it's two Mach II evaps sandwiched with a waterblock in-between to make a chiller? Need a picture that isn't a macro shot of the copper to get an idea of what you mean.

Rather have someone mod the 2 Chilly's into 1 cascade :)

You have an eagle eye
I am waiting for a hand made 25v/10A PSU to test it (for load test). Then I could tell something about it..
Just tried it yesterday (HWMonitor is the only prog that showed some temp, ignore core temps)

Mounting needs some work and temps should get lower but - it works
