Question about Hybrid SLI.

I want to redo my SFF computer with the new SG05. First of all, how does Hybrid SLI work?

The motherboard I'm getting has an integrated 9300 GPU along with Hybrid SLI capability and a x16 PCI-Express slot for a GTX 285.

I've read from Zotac's website, and I think what they're talking about is:

Idling/low video usage = integrated gpu;
Power video processing = video card;

Is this correct? Or does Hybrid SLI serve other purpose?
