HI there ;
I have a few problems with my raid 0 setup which is driving me crazy :mad: .
My system is based on my signature .
The problem appears with a few software (video encoding ) , during the encoding process the system hangs up for about one minute then come back some time work a few minutes then hung out again until a blue screen ,
After the computer restarts a message about raid volume appear (corrupted , check back up and remove ) , in Intel matrix storage, i set the defective disk as normal and the system work fine (some time directly some time after a full window installs).
Note : the cpu was tested with over 24 hours prime stable and Intel burn in tool for 24 also .
Memory checked with windows memory test , and memory test under dos = stable for 12 hours (i have not tested more) .
With daily use , i have a lot of copy (large data) and moving file between partition , but i have never seen any problem .
During gaming 100 % never got any similar crash (also game a lot).
The computer never shut down and work correctly (for weeks) until i start doing video encoding .
Except with video encoding, i am getting those problems (virtual dumb , windows movie maker and Vegas Movie Studio) , but Ultra Flash Video FLV Converter work correctly and never caused such problem ,
ALL PC components are cooled enough the south bridge just like the north is @ 30 c max , HDD's are cooled with 2 x 120 fan 1800 RPm , i don't have a case :D so air follows is good enough.
TO what this issue can be related.
