There is no way of holding that thing without touching some button by accident. I can't imagine that being comfortable.

Nevertheless, I've always wanted the option of having 16 million colors pulsating as I've set them up (see demo in link). Or not.

Looks yucky to me. I'd rather get the new Razer mouse whatever it's called :D

That's just for 12 year olds loving that it glows. "OMGZ it has COLORZ!!"

I personally would not want one, first off according to all the specs and reviews, the buttons are specific to the game. You cannot use them outside the game, and it looks uncomfortable. I love my G5.

Personally I would never want one. But every single person I know who plays WOW says a mouse like this would be an amazing tool. Although AFAIK it is nearly impossible to get one. Every store is sold out ASAP. Hell I've seen people offer $200+ for one.

I use a death adder, which along with the MX518 is the most used gaming mouse for competitive gaming in the world.

That being said, if anyone does want to grab a gaming mouse, I suggest demoing it first. Razer mice are much more "floaty" then Logitech, and have some driver issues with Vista 64. (like the loader for the driver only working with xp, so you need an xp machine to put the drivers onto the mouse).

I also doubt you would hit many of the buttons based on where they are currently placed. I thought this initially when I had the MX518, because the buttons to change the DPI are right below the scroll wheel, but you get used to it.

It also has a lot to do with the way you hold your mouse. There are various styles for gaming. I use Claw style.
