While I'm posting on this section, thought I'd ask, any semi decent quality wireless stereo headphones out there?

I bought a wireless Tevion headset from the local Aldi store yesterday, only £18, the lady that served me said I could take them back for refund if I wanted, these are just for general listening while moving about the house, for EG: I like to listen to the 6PM news on TV, but often have to cook around that time, these cheap wireless phones are not bad for this and I'll keep them for this kinda stuff alone, despite the odd bit of crackle.

I once tried a wireless headset years ago, and it was complete and utter rubbish and I put it back, but things have obviously improved, so ... while these ones are just about acceptable for general listening, would like something with better sound quality for same usage if possible, would not want to spend a fortune, already have a Senn PC350 for Gaming and looking at buying very good, wired headphones for music, just looking at the mobility factor here for general listening, TV, Radio ETC while moving about the house, and maybe even in the Garden in the summer.

Sennheiser makes some nice ones, I tried one of the two models in somebodies car for a movie. No hiss and decent sound.

Yeah I have wondered why many companies have not yet produced wireless headsets like they do Mice and keyboards

Having had a lot of experience in this area, I suggest you avoid all budget (and Sony) wireless headphones. They use RF, so interference can be a HUGE problem if you live in the city. Especially the stuff that operates on 2.4GHz.

Stick with infrared wireless headphones, if you absolutely must go wireless. However, there are also some much higher-end RF sets, like Audio-Technica's DWL5000, but be prepared to pay a hefty price tag. Infrared phones are comparatively cheap. Plus, if you're going to use them for TV and movies, all (or at least almost all) infrared wireless receivers that I have seen support Dolby Headphone technology. So, it can accept a DTS or AC3 5.1 signal via S/PDIF.
