My last motherboard was a MSI motherboard with realtek onboard sound, and i use to record sound with cooledit from winamp and other media clips " what you hear "
Now i have a asus p5q3 deluxe wifi with soundmax
And i use the same software ( cooledit ) as record source, But today i found out that i could not record any sound beside some poor quality that was recordet from the microphone i have plugged in.
Is it possible for me to record direct sound with asus onboard sound or must i buy a soundcard ? i would not let it come to this.
Found out i had the wrong mixer unit activated..please dete this thread
