Hey I was wondering which would be best. I have a lian-li pc-p8 case and I would like the interior and rear of the case to be black also. What would be the best(looking) way to do it??:D

Anodizing looks LOADS more professional and clean than spray paint, but its also quite a bit more involved. If you dont have the equipment to do it yourself its pretty much out of the question. Unless you can find a local place to do it for you.

Out of curiosity what do you need to anodize your own stuff.

Annodizing or even powder coating would be 50X better than rattle canning it. You got a nice case, why mess it up with some spray paint. Leave it along if your gonna can it though.

plain, single colors will have to go for annodize
for more multicolor, design ... paint job (or airbrush)
Painting alu is a bad idea, powder coating is the best option, don't know how much anodizing will cost though.

How much would it be to powdercoat?

Shucks for a large peice like that case I would say you need about 80 Amps.
So here is the breakdown:
Astron VS-?? (or similar DC PSU)
Titanium Hangars
A few large insulated tubs (like camping coolers but big enough for a case to fit in)
Special Acids for removing Aluminium Oxide
Dyes
Cool Environment
Electrolyzer plates
Lots of practice.
etc....
^This stuff is not cheap either. It also takes like days to do black (darker color).

A guy over at a dutch forum had the entire inside of his TJ-07 done for €75,-, about $90,-.
That included drive bay, midplate, backplate.

Yeah, I saw that! I am thinking about pm'ing him. I was either going to do this, or have an auto paint job on the interior. I can have this done where I live....Though I know that powdercoating is much tougher....
