if u get an ati card then u can have dx11 already with win7. and win7 has problems right now i wanted to switch but im waiting for the 2nd public beta since the current one kills media files and hasnt had a public security evaluation. affter vista i learned the win beta as a primary OS lesson

Another vote for XP 32bit. I'm running XP 64bit - its great for normal use but forget overclocking. Gaming isnt too bad but as with Vista x64 drivers appear to be an issue.
Zanzabar: Pretty sure MS have released a fix for this?

Or are you talking about a different issue?

UGH DROP XP it is old and no good anymore. either go Vista or Win7 I love both and Win7 is starting to get me hooked. Everyone that votes XP is because they dont want to change anything. Ever since I went to Vista XP has become a big POS to me. I use the two disks of it I have for cup coasters cause they are useless now.

So I vote Vista or Win7

Ditch all of XP. Vista has improved so much in the past year there is no reason to have XP anymore.

HP has no volume shadow copying and has a 16GB or 8GB ram limit (8SP0 16 sp1/2), buz is a much nicer install and has no media center crap
