Audigy 2 vs X-fi vs auzentech questions

I have an audigy 2 zs, just got an Xfi fata1lty fps titanium edition.

I dont like creative, but I love EAX, so I must stick with them.

Is auzentech the only good alternative?

Auzentech has a couple of other cards coming soon, the X-Fi Forte (should be out already) and the X-Fi HomeTheater HD (should be out by the end of the month). The Auzentech drivers are just modified Creative drivers afaik, so if it's software that's holding you back, you may as well go with one of the cheaper X-Fi cards from Creative. The money is going to them one way or another anyhow.

If you can audition a Xonar, I'd do so. They don't have actual EAX 5, but the "emulated" EAX 5 may suffice for you.

I have all 3 except my X-Fi is the old X-Platinum. I'd stick with the Titanium but that's just me. Others would find moving to the Auzentech a better option (I agree) but at a cost. Yes, Auzentech is the only other Option.
