Recovery Disk like hp?

Hey guys, I want to make an image of my PC to dvd so that I can simply pop in the disk and my pc restores the image back to the drive. I've tried doing this with acronis and a few other programs but none are straight forward. I want something like HP does, where when you get a new HP its like "HEY! insert a dvd so i can make a copy of myself for you!"

Is it so much to ask?

Please if any one knows a utility thats straight forward to use and does this I would greatly like to know about it.

It's called a ghost image...

Norton makes the only one ive heard of with their product norton ghost... but im sure there is more...it was pretty easy when i tried it.

best to start with a fresh install.. get all your basic apps and such installed, then ghost... might not want to do video drivers if you update them a lot.
