xfx 8200 fan speed and reading

I have an xfx 8200 with a 3pin cpu and 2 3 pin case fans on everest the cpu fan reading is the reading from the side case fan and when i unplug the side case fan the cpu goes to zero. i have also tried a 4 pin cpu fan and its the same. any ideas?

nothing to do with the motherboard really..you may have plugged the fans into the incorrect place. Look at your motherboard diagram to determine the proper placed to hook the fans to.

you running the latest bios btw?
