View Full Version : XP SP3 very odd Hibernate and stand by problems

So my grandpa has an older HP Pavilion and I installed a new PCI graphics card replacing the AGP one. And now the hibernate and standby gets stuck after 30 mins. If u resume right away they both work fine. I checked bios settings and they look fine.

Any help appricated, Thanks

Do you have an "Init display first" or similar option in BIOS? Make sure its set to PCI-e. Other than that, S3 is the mode you want for standby.

Checked all that. I don't think it's in the Bios. It's not a PCI express by the way
