I'm using vista ultimate 64 bit.
I was watching TV perfectly fine last night turned the PC. threw media center

turned off the PC and left it can back turned it back on My tv tuner is getting audio but it's no showing video. if I pause and then hit play is shows the frames but refuses to play the TV right at all. :(

it either gets stuck on one picture or flashes two partial pictures over one another.

card is a MSI 650 pro theater... I've tried the system restore and a uninstalling a few things but it's not doing anything.

this is frustrating me, that it just suddenly happened. :/

Only thing I can suggest is try setting up the tuner in Media Center again, see if it fixes it, or maybe reinstall the MSI driver.

I did that still, not helping. :(

in window mode it won't show a the tv running at all.

full screen I have to keep the mouse moving or it will flash two pictures over one another.

can you close the sidebar and try. something seems to interfere with media center.
if it works fine in power cinema, it's obviously not a driver or decoder issue and the card is working properly.
do you have any video saved to hdd that you could test to playback?
what about windows media player, not the center? same?

I burned a data DVD and I can nowsay I think it's My HDD

it's a seagate barracuda 250gb I have sata DVD burner it was unusually slow to burn data DVD.

it took about 1 hour and 45 minutes to burn 2.25gbs to a disc.

My dad's computer is on Sata 1.5 he's getting around 22,000kbps, I'm surrently getting 220 max >_<

last time I did a hole DVD it didn't take anywhere near a long.

looks like I need to reinstall vista to straight it out :( s.o.b
