Looking to vmod my new/old XFX 8600gt's. I've seen the pencil mod for it but would like to try the vr method. I measured the resistance from the FB pin and ground which was 698 for core and 601 for mem. I then multiplied the resistance by 20 and came up with 13,960 for core and 12,020 for mem. Would a 20k vr be necessary or just a 15k? To me it looks as though a 15k would be sufficient. Also when I google trying to find the vr's the is a plethora of 20k's and a few 15k's. If someone could please give me a link to which ones I would need. Any other input would also be greatly appreciative. Thanks.
