repairing/restoring the registry
im about to help a friend with his vista computer who accidently installed 2 antivirus programs at the same time, and he havent created any restorepoints...
the consequense is that now the computer cant connect to websites...
ive tried 4 different webbrowsers and none of them can connect to websites.
i can ping websites from a commandline though.
and voipcheapcom also works (messenger app).
only http and ftp seems to be a problem.
we managed to uninstall both antiviruses and all firewalls (+inactivated windows firewall), but the problems remain.
i think the registry is damaged so i want to restore/repair it to "fresh install condition"
p.s. we have no restore disc either, and we want to keep the data on c:
