Hello,
I find myself in a difficult situation, I feel sorry bothering you this time, but I was trying to solve this problems last week and can't find an appropriate solution
History of the problem: I have a PC, hard disk sata with OS Windows XP Professional
Everything was fine... Until one day this hard drive sata (I don't know really if it was after updating to SP3, but with the software winternals erd 2007 when I wanted to modify the registry the program showed me SP1) I turn on my PC and find the next screen (It's in Spanish, but translating to English it says "lsass.exe - Error of System
When trying to refresh a password, this state of return indicates that the value proportioned/given like password is not correct"
It automatically rebooted... I couldn't even enter in safe mode... it rebooted there too

I searched In Google... and found that it could be a virus, etc... but I really don't get the problem... I passed nod32 putting this HD like slave, and some keygen appered like malicious software... but nothing out of common
Microsoft solution to my problem http://support.microsoft.com/kb/307545/es
Everything fine... I put this HD like slave... unlock the permission to see the folder System Volume Information
and find 2 files: mountpointmanagerremotebase y tracking.log... not folders like Snapshot.. o RPxxx something...
I don't know if it has a connection with my uncheck of the function Restaurate System, or what
I try entering with Winternals erd 2007 and I can't see anything that could help me in the folder System Volume Information (compared to my other HD's that I have... they don't have any other files in System Volume Information either)
So, I can't make this HD work properly, obviously for me it's not a solution reinstalling Windows because I have more than 100 programs and it's a very hard work to reinstall program by program
I tryed replacing files from /Windows/system32/config with windows/recycle (files like security, software, system, sam, default)... but not even one program from the menu Start worked properly.... always returning me errors
I have the old files from /Windows/system32/config
Please, I need help to put this HD working again... with all the old programs installed
Yours Sincerely,
Igor
