Lachesis not working on bootup

Sup all, I got a nice shiny blue razer lachesis for christmas, and when i first plugged it in it worked fine, awesome stuff. Turned off my pc overnight and now it doesn't. The buttons work fine but the laser does not come on so I cannot move the mouse around the screen. Any ideas?

Sounds like the 3G laser crapped out on ya. Go to http://www.razerzone.com/ and download the new drivers and firmware. See if that helps. Make sure you download the 1.91 firmware and the 1.10 drivers.

If that does'nt fix it then it looks like you got a bad apple. i love mine. now all i need is the lycosa keyboard to match.

It crapped out overnight? How could that happen? I'll download that stuff though.

*edit* flashed with newest firmware, it said restart driver. No idea how to do that. And also I tried installing driver 1.10 but it still says 1.0.0.0 in Device Manager

It means restart the driver program. If in doubt, just restart :up:

To confirm driver version open the driver program (the one that lets you set macro keys to your mouse buttons etc - right click razer icon in system tray and click Lachesis to open it) and see what it says there.

Ah gotcha, on the lachesis config it says driver version 1.10 and firmware version 1.91. Rebooted, still nothing. The clicks work but the laser for movement just isnt coming on.

*edit* ITS ALIIIIVE. Working now. Somehow.. I'm not complaining though =]

I got a similar problem. It stopped working on boot after awhile. My solution is to switch the USB port and its alive again.
