Soundcard on last days????

I have a X-fi FPS PCI. the sound in control panel is 100 also the speakers were 100 and the sound was like 30. I checked everything and i have no clue. Can somebody help me on this ????

I think he's saying that the speaker volume dial is maxed out, & also the volume slider in windooze, but the amount of sound produced is very little ;)

i'm afraid i have noooo idea sorry :(
are all the cables plugged in properly? sometimes u can accidently get them in only half etc..

try out on headphones ... if headphones is ok .. then the wire to your speakers might be faulty
i suspect the wires has snapped itself inside the plastic cover .. which brings to effect of hearing some noise but very little (becoz the wires attaching might left a few strands)

Sorry for the late reply. I tried everything but it looks the sound card is dying. I enabled the onboard sound and the speakers are fine. Disabled onboard again rebooted and no sound. finally gave up and ordered another one. It's fixed. Hopefully the other one works
